and I can’t wait to work with YOU! As a professional vocal coach with over 20 years of experience, I’ve taught hundreds of students at all ages and singing abilities – from professional actors and musicians to people singing for the sheer joy of it.
I’ve worked with Hollywood and musical theatre actors, Juno award-winning singers and bands, professional recording artists and even news anchors – all over North America.
At home in Vancouver, I led choirs at the St. James Music Academy for over 10 years. I am currently part of the Arts Moves Residency Sing-a-Longs all over the lower mainland and one half of the podcast Strong & Wrong with co-host Cupcakedujour on Spotify.
And I work daily in my studio with people just like YOU, who want to learn singing ‘Basics,’ discover their unique voices and develop their singing (and speaking) skills.

This course is done at your own pace. You can put in as much time as you want, but ideally, I love to say that if you can warm up your voice for at least five minutes a day, you will feel progress quickly and get your voice moving in the right direction!
Everyone can sing, and it doesn’t matter what stage you are at! If it brings you joy and connection, who cares if it’s perfect or not! My basics course will get you started on the right foot, giving you some really attainable tips and tricks to start understanding your unique voice and sound. Plus, you will be trying something new and developing a new skill which is awesome!
